In 2008, I released the first edition of this album. The music proved to be quite popular; however as I began to play more nyckelharpa I was frequently asked at my performances for these songs played with my new instrument. As a result of these requests I went back to my old tracks and re-edited them (or in some cases re-recorded from scratch) layered the nyckelharpa over the original harp tracks. For a few of the tunes, I asked Lisa to play her harp and create an arrangement for this album. Then back to remix and remaster the entirety ... The result is a wonderful new edition of fan's favorites. I am sure you will enjoy this newer edition and the nyckelharpa really creates a new and fresh interpretation these wonderful pieces.
