Azigza - Kriya (2004)

From 1994-2004, I performed with an unusual 'trance-rock -'world-fusion' band named <B>Azigza. While I did play a little bit of harp with the band, my main instrument was electric violin some electric 12 string guitar among other instruments. In 2004 we released our second full-length CD. It was well received by the critics, especially from within the 'progressive rock' scene.

The band has been on an extended hiatus since 2004.

For more information on Azigza, please visit the (now un-updated) website: AZIGZA

Because I have had considerable involvement in the creation of this music and the CD is released on the Lionharp Music label, the CD is availalble and can be purchased through this website. However,  please be forewarned:

This is NOT harp music and the music has little relation to my harp music. This is wild and very intense, avante guarde, electrified, rocked out, trancy and richly orchestrated music.

Think Led Zeppelin, King Crimson and Mahavishnu Orchestra meets Middle Eastern belly dance music. There are vocals and heavy percussion.
